Starting first shift an hour later helps alertness

An article on, Study: Some Shift Patterns Worse than Others for Robbing Workers of Sleep , discusses a study that found shiftworkers starting morning shifts at 6:30 fare worse than those who begin the first shift an hour later. Managers in 24/7 should be keep this in mind when they set their shift schedule.
